Which accessories make the most difference to a small stand? +
On a 3m space, lighting and height do more than anything else. An LED Display Light lifts a fabric graphic out of the shadow cast by the hall rig, and a shelf or brochure stand pulls your product up to eye level instead of leaving it flat on a table. After that, anything that removes clutter earns its place: a Zig Zag Brochure Stand holds literature that would otherwise cover your counter. Resist filling the space — a small stand looks bigger when there are fewer objects in it.
How do I light a fabric display without creating hot spots? +
Fabric graphics are matte, so they take light well, but a single bright fixture aimed straight at the middle will burn out the centre and leave the edges dark. Space LED Display Lights evenly across the top of the wall and angle them down the face of the graphic rather than into it. If your stand is at Olympia London or any hall with strong overhead lighting, walk out into the aisle once the lights are on and look at your own stand from where a visitor stands — that is the only test that counts.
Can I mount a screen on a portable display stand? +

The thing to check before you buy is the screen's own weight and its VESA mounting pattern against the limit specified for the stand, because a screen that is too heavy will bow a portable frame even if the bracket physically fits. Plan cable routing at the same time, so the power and HDMI leads run behind the graphic and not across the floor.
What is the best way to display brochures without cluttering the stand? +
Vertical is better than horizontal. A Zig Zag Brochure Stand or the TechBrochure Pro Stand holds literature upright at a readable angle in a footprint smaller than a laptop, whereas a fan of brochures on a counter is untidy within an hour. Stock the display lightly and refill it through the day — a full rack signals that nobody is taking anything. How do I secure a tablet for demos on a stand? +
An iPad Stand for Exhibition Displays holds the device at a fixed height and angle so visitors can use it hands-free, which is far better than passing a tablet between people. Look for an enclosure that covers the home button and ports, keep the device in guided-access or kiosk mode so nobody wanders off into your email, and run a charging cable up through the stand column because a day of demos will flatten any battery. Position it away from the very edge of the stand.
Do shelves work on a tension fabric wall? +
They do, but not by hanging off the fabric. Never clip anything directly to a printed fabric panel — it will pull the tension out of the graphic and leave a visible sag. What do exhibitors most often forget to pack? +
Consumables and spares. A spare extension lead, cable ties, a roll of gaffer tape, scissors, a microfibre cloth and a few spare graphic clips will save you at some point during a build. Add a small first-aid kit, a phone power bank and a bin for the back of the stand, since the venue will not empty it during show hours. Keep this kit permanently in one bag so nobody has to remember it before each event.
How do accessories travel between shows? +
Put them in a case rather than loose in the boot.
